I am a detail-oriented and tenacious multi-media producer with a background in unscripted development currently living and working in Los Angeles. I think on my feet to solve any problem with an upbeat attitude! Most recently I worked for NBC Universal Cable Productions on the first season of “Bring the Funny.”
Originally from South Carolina, I got my undergraduate degree in Print Journalism from the University of South Carolina where I minored in media arts and also graduated from the Honors College. From there I went on to study television production at Boston University. I moved to Los Angeles in 2011 as a part of BU’s internship program, fell in love with the city and have been here ever since!
I started my career working in development at G4 and the Esquire Network before shifting to producing. I love producing unscripted projects because it allows me to combine my background in journalism with my passion for telling stories that have the power to resonate with broad audiences. I love talking to people, figuring out what makes them unique and telling stories that give people in our incredibly fractured world an emotional common ground.
I love banana pudding, running, volunteering, cooking, and busting out my clarinet every now and then (if you are interested in starting a clarinet choir with me, please let me know). I also produce short films and web series with my husband Alex Wroten through Well Dang! Productions. You can see a selection of our work on this website and at www.welldang.com.
