Christopher Columbus Saves the World is a 35-minute sci-fi comedy about a simple guy named Christopher Columbus who gets in over his head when some too-smart-for-their-own-good grad students challenge him to explore the boundaries of time and space. It was filmed in October/November of 2013.
Responsibilities:
- Secured and managed cast, including interfacing with SAG-AFTRA to manage and comply with New Media signatory process.
- Secured and managed locations, obtaining releases and interfacing with property owners to balance their expectations with production needs.
- Tracked budget during and prior to filming, negotiating with actors, location owners and crew members to keep within budget.
- Balanced cast and crew needs to devise and implement production schedule.
