I worked for A. Smith & Co. as an associate producer on the first season of Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge, based on the popular OCR brand.
Major responsibilities:
- Interviewed and developed unique stories for more than 20 contestants.
- Managed B-roll shoot for 180 competitors over two shoot days. Produced crowd reactions and managed 40-50 friends and family audience members to produce post-race interactions with competitors.
- Wrote and created race and feature story stringouts for editors from 30+ cameras; worked with editors to address internal and network notes. Remotely produced hometown shoots across the country.
- Responsible for clearing contestant photos and videos and obtaining appearance releases for any friends and family
- Worked with network to produce EPK spots and other episode assets as needed including deliverables requirements
